group fun Oct 01, 2009 game is great for couples to play together. it adds great variety to our board game get-togethers, especially the mini games where you have to act stuff out or draw things.
Super Fun!!! May 05, 2009 I bought this game for my sleepover party and it was a hit!!! Everybody loved it!!! Now, when people come over to my house they beg to play Kabookii. Great family game! 8 people can play with one remote too!
A must-buy. Excellent quality and great effects add to the outrageous fun!!! A 1,000 star rating!!!
More Fun From the Cranium Folks Mar 15, 2009 This is a great game, best played in at least a group of 4 people/2 teams. The Wii remote is used in clever ways to solve the different game puzzles. The hardest mini-games are Charades & Backwards Charades (not real name, you just don't look at the screen and your team tells you what to do); this is because the game determines if you did the clue right or not, not your team. We've played several times now, and finally had someone win the Charades mini-game (there are 6 things to demonstrate in the allotted time). Since it's so hard to get the game to agree you are doing the right motion we just let whoever is doing the Charades to look at the screen at all times. Otherwise, all the mini-games are fun, you spin a wheel with the remote to randomly pick your activity. Lots of laughs.
Kabookii Mar 03, 2009 This a fun game the family can play together without having to worry about language or shooting things. It is the Wii version of the board game "cranium". It has geography, true/false questions, memory, song recognition, charades, and pictionary categories. Its fun to play and worth the price.

Not for little kids. Feb 14, 2009 I bought this game for my 5 year old.
If you bought this game to give yourself a little break to take a shower or pick up around the house, you are going to be sadly disappointed. There is not single player option. I do not mind playing with my daughter, but was hoping she could play this on her own. Most of the mini games don't seem to respond well to the controller and the 'directions' they give you aren't that detailed. This is very frustrating for a 5 year old. Some of the prompts (in the mini games) are NOT appropriate for small kids. In the 'pictionary' type game, it prompted my daughter to draw a cocktail. In another it prompted her to draw Champagne. In the 'charades' type game, it wanted her to act out striking a match and turning the stove on. There is another game where you have to have the other player guess a song. The song was 'Give My Regards to Broadway'. What kids knows that song?
All in all I was very disappointed. I thought this would be a fun game for her to play and it turned out being a huge waste of money.
